If you enjoy going on field trips in Hancock and Washington Counties and have an interest in natural history science, you may enjoy helping with our field trip cataloging project. The goal is to develop and editable Wikipedia-style catalog of field trips sites the are of special interest from a natural history standpoint. The early efforts to develop this catalog are likely to focus on field trip sites that are visited by Eagle Hill seminar and workshop groups. The record for each site will include annotated maps, annotated species lists, and a broad description of why each site is of special interest. This catalog project will be of special interest to landowners who will thus learn more about their land.
