help identifying meteorites, especially iron meteorites, pallasites, and chondrites
guide the development of a teaching collection and supporting teaching programs
advise us on housing the collection and developing exhibits
advise us about the building up our collection by purchasing whole meteorites, sectioning them with our 10" diamond saw, and marketing a portion to fund purchases of other whole meteorites
ease us into developing a partnered research program by way of acquiring some equipment
introduce us to collectors who may be amenable to making a legacy donation of meteorites
help us reach out to philanthropists and foundations with an interest in astronomy
help us network with astronomy clubs
introduce us to guest lecturers
