We are seeking to engage with potters with at least entry-level experiences in ceramics who are intrigued with the idea of exploring the intersections of fine art and fine craftsmanship by way of using ceramics to portray motifs found in nature.
When considered within the setting of a nonprofit organization dedicated to the natural history sciences, this has the potential for becoming a fascinating new program direction for potters who see the practical potentials of engaging with the faculty members and alumni of the institute's training seminars.
The collaborative goal is to work toward creating marketable products that will first be introduced to the overall Eagle Hill science community, as well as its concert and lecture program guests.
