Computers and High-speed Internet Access at Eagle Hill

Much of the campus has wireless connectivity for those who wish to bring their own wireless-capable laptops. The Institute also has a number of laptops available for use by participants and visitors. The T-1, fiber-optic line provided to our facility as part of the Maine School and Library Network is the highest speed, highest capacity internet connection available in the region and allows for rapid downloads of even large files. Thus, it makes electronic research using, both general web searches and accessing articles in electronic databases, easier and faster. Upon completion, the Eagle Hill Library will include additional computer workstations for use by its patrons.
