The Commons Building main level serves as an elegantly-designed event space for programs hosted by Eagle Hill, such as concerts and lectures.
It also serves as an event space for gatherings the institute hosts occasionally on behalf of other organizations and private functions, as is traditional for many nonprofit organizations, such as museum and botanial gardens.
Concerts ... The 30x30' east room, because of its shape and coffered ceiling, is acoustically optimal for music performances, including ones featuring clavichords and harpsichords, which need intimate salon-style settings, such as this. With 12 round tables, the room comfortable seats up to 60 people for performances.
Lectures and meetings ... The east room is equipped with a large projector screen, as well as equipment for PowerPoint presentations, so it serves well as a space for hosting lectures, as well as meetings.
Banquets ... The west room, with its wide array of picture windows, serves as an elegantly-designed event space for serving either buffet-style dinners after events, such as concerts and lectures, or serving plated plated dinners for banquet events. Dinners can be hosted for up to 60 people. There is very limited availability from May through September.
Classes ... A separate building has a classroom with 320 square feet of table space for comfortably hosting workshops and meetings, with seating for up to 16-20 people.
Accommodations ... Simple accomodations can be reserved, when not needed for seminar participants.
