A design charrette for the fine art museum wing

We welcome involvement to help envisage the scale and design of the fine art museum wing.

We will do so by way of hosting an ongoing design charrette. This is a traditional way of seeking suggestions and for evaluating design proposals. The pending link below will start out by first sharing rough sketches (renderings) of the overall design for the fine art museum, while also showing how the building will be placed within the topographically complex landscape of Eagle Hill.

The plans for the fine art museum call for it to be structurally and programmaticaly seamlessly integrated with the music wing of the cultural and events center that is being planned for the western slope of Eagle Hill, which will have a sunset view looking out over Gouldsboro Bay towards Cadillac Mountain of Acadia National Park.

We look forward to engaging with donors who have a keen interest in being involved, prior to key decision-making points.
