Announcing the 2021 Northeast Natural History Conference

to be held in conjuntion with the

Wilson Ornithological Society's Annual Meeting and the

Association of Field Ornithologists' Annual Meeting

Back in Albany!! After a long hiatus from the city where the conference originated, we are excited to return there for the 2021 NENHC and even more so as we will be holding it at the new Albany Capital Center. Located a stone's throw from the Capital Plaza venue we had used before, the ACC is a new, modern facility that is particularly well suited to hosting our conference.

While it was a big disappointment to have to cancel the 2020 conference due to COVID-19 concerns, offering the 2021 Northeast Natural History Conference in tandem with the Annual Meetings of both the Association of Field Ornithologists and the Wilson Ornithological Society promises to make next April's program even more inspirational, with an additional day of poster and oral presentations, and a special emphasis on avian-related research... it will be a truly grand affair!

You won't want to miss the Northeast's largest regional forum for researchers, natural resource managers, students, and naturalists to present current information on the varied aspects of applied field biology (freshwater, marine, and terrestrial) and natural history for the Northeastern United States and adjacent Canada. It will serve as a premier venue to identify research and management needs, foster friendships and collegial relationships, and encourage a greater region-wide interest in natural history by bringing people with diverse backgrounds together.

We are already getting ready for next year's conference, which will be held April 15–18, 2021 in Albany, NY. So save the dates and contact us if you wish to be added to our email list for updates or would like to be involved in conference planning.
